Arsenal have received a huge boost at such a key time ahead of Chelsea clash with the return of Takehiro Tomiyasu while Chelsea dealt Kovavic injury blow.

Ahead of Arsenal’s match against Chelsea on Wednesday, Mikel Arteta has suggested Tomiyasu will indeed be part of their pre-match training sessions.

“Tomi is very, very close,” Arteta said.

“Whether this game is going to be too early for him or not, again we will decide it today after the training session.”

The right-back hasn’t made a Premier League start since January 1st amid various calf issues and is in in race against time for Chelsea’s clash.

Chelsea will be without their midfielder talisman Mateo Kovavic ahead of Arsenal clash after picking up an injury in the FA Cup semi-final against Crystal Palace.

Kovacic left Wembley with some heavy strapping on his ankle but without the use of crutches.

However, the German coach revealed in his press conference on Tuesday that the Chelsea ace has suffered ligament damage.

Arsenal face a tricky trip to Chelsea on Wednesday in their bid to reverse a run of three consecutive Premier League defeats.
