The report also added that PSG failed to convince Tchouameni, who has become the priority target for the Parisians, despite offering him a higher salary.

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has also stated that Tchouameni is on his way to link up with the Champions League holders

Tchouameni was one of Ligue 1’s standout players during the 2021-22 season – chipping in with three goals and two assists in 35 top-flight outings.

His form has also seen him become a regular in Didier Deschamps’ Les Bleus squad.
Tchouameni’s name has been on the shortlist at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu for a long time.

Tchouameni could be the second deal to be completed after that of Antonio Rudiger, who will join on a free from Chelsea.
