Tottenham Hotspur secured an impressive 2-0 win against Nottingham Forest on but it was Richarlison showboating skills that seemed to have grabbed a fair bit of headlines.
Harry Kane scored both goals, with the second being assisted by Richarlison in the 81st minute. Spurs were comfortably up by a 2-0 margin when in the 85th minute, the Brazilian international did a few casual juggles with the ball and passed it to a teammate, which quickly led to him being chopped down by Brennan Johnson.

Speaking in an interview after the full-time whistle, Forest manager Steve Cooper was quick to condemn the actions of the Spurs player, claiming he would never allow such things to happen at his club
“I wouldn’t want my players to do what Richarlison did. But if that’s accepted at Spurs then that’s nothing to do with me. But it wouldn’t be accepted here, that’s for sure.”
On the contrary, Spurs boss Antonio Conte thinks people are making a mountain out of a molehill. The Italian manager insisted that he and his team have great respect for the opposition despite Richarlison showboating skills against Nottingham Forest.
“At the moment I was with the bench because I was making another substitution. I think he juggled with the ball. It is a game and you are under pressure.

“I repeat it is OK. I don’t think Richy wanted to show disrespect to Nottingham Forest. Conte said.
“Forest are a really good team with a great history in football and we have a great respect. Richy for sure thinks in the same way. Not disrespectful for anyone and I can tell you this.”
Harry Kane’s 200th and 201st league goals extended Tottenham Hotspur’s unbeaten start to the campaign, their best in 13 years, and consigned Nottingham Forest to defeat.
