Cristian Romero’s camp has dismissed the on-going speculation about Tottenham centre-back Cuti Romeo that – he will be out for three to four weeks due to the muscle injury he suffered against Chelsea.

🚨 Romero suffered a blow to his right knee as a result of a stomp by Marc Cucurella over the weekend.
Alasdair Gold revealed on Football London last night that Tottenham Hotspur defender Cristian Romero has picked up a muscle injury that is set to keep him out of the side for as long as four weeks. As a result, Gold claimed that the Argentine is set to miss Spurs’ return to the Champions League and also their clash against Manchester City next month.
However, Romero camp has moved to dismiss the ongoing speculations, by reiterating that – he got injury from the kick by Cucurella, and it has nothing to do with muscle injury.
Argentine journalist Gaston wrote in his post: “Rectification of information that emerged in England: Cuti Romero does NOT have a muscle injury. It was a blow product of this kick from Cucurella. He will be back sooner than expected.”

The Injury is only knock. This is what Romero’s entourage have told me.”
“In principle, in 10 days he can return and will be available for the friendlies of Argentina in September.”

Cristian Romero likes Gaston tweet suggesting his injury isn’t muscle, but a knock he suffered from Cucurella’s challenge.
Opinion.
We don’t know how accurate this information is, but Gaston is more than reliable regarding Argentina players and he’s also has the closet contacts to the national team. The fact that Romero has liked the tweet does hint that his injury isn’t as serious as what has been reported.
