Tottenham forward Dejan Kulusevski appears to have dropped an update on his return to action ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Sporting.
Kulusevski has not played for Spurs since the 6-2 win over Leicester in the middle of September, having suffered an injury while on international duty with Sweden.
Antonio Conte last week suggested Kulusevski may not play again for the World Cup, telling reporters: “His recovery was going well and then one day the situation worsened. When this type of situation happens, you have to restart. You need time.
“We have the medical department to face injuries and they have to solve the situation in a short period because if they do, it means points in the table.”
Ahead of the midweek visit of the Portuguese champions, Kulusevski on Instagram posted a photo of himself playing for Spurs and another which appears to show him waiting in the tunnel ahead of kick-off, accompanied by an hourglass emoji as the caption.

It has been a tricky few days for Tottenham.
The 2-0 defeat at Manchester United in midweek was a major disappointment as Spurs looked for a statement win.
Conte couldn’t get back on track against Newcastle United on Sunday either, losing 2-1 to Eddie Howe’s Magpies.
Tottenham look so stale going forward and their last three goals have been a penalty, a deflection and a header from a corner.

Goals are goals and they all count the same, but you could forgive Tottenham fans for feeling a little worried about that run.
Kulusevski knits this Tottenham attack together and his absence has been huge in recent games.
Richarlison’s injury has compounded the problems for Tottenham and neither player will feature against Sporting on Wednesday night.
Tottenham boss Conte was asked about the duo after Sunday’s defeat to Newcastle and had a pretty blunt response.
Conte told Football London that there is simply ‘no chance’ that either player will be available to face Sporting.
It is unclear as of now when Kulusevski will be available, but his return is as soon as possible and will probably in line for Liverpool’s game.
