Real Madrid have reportedly told Erling Braut Haaland to spend one more season at Borussia Dortmund, with the Spanish giants keen to sign him in the summer of 2023.
Vlahovic is most highly-rated young strikers in Europe and the name on everyone’s lips owing to his excellent goalscoring exploits across the past years, and has developed a slew of admirers. From Real Madrid, Manchester City, Barcelona and Manchester United, to Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Bayern Munich, there is no shortage of interest in the Norwegian sensation.
“I don’t think there’s a sports director or trainer in the world who would say ‘not interested,”Haaland’s agent Mino Raiola told BBC.
“It’s like saying: ‘Is there a Formula 1 team who would not be interested in having Lewis Hamilton?’
However, Madrid’s priority this summer is to sign Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain.
The 23-year-old Frenchman’s contract at the Parc des Princes expires at the end of this season and Los Blancos are absolutely determined to bring him to the Santiago Bernabeu. They also want Haaland, but want the Norwegian to wait until summer 2023 to make the move, a request that hasn’t gone down well in Haaland’s camp as per Mundo Deportivo.
Real Madrid have asked Haaland to wait for one more year as they believe it would be unfair to sign him in the same transfer window as the French international.
Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland will sit down with super-agent Mino Raiola later today to discuss his future, according to reports.
The 21-year-old will become one of the most sought-after players in the summer transfer window, with a £67million release clause being activated later this year
