Harry Kane did not travelled with the Tottenham squad to Portugal for their Europa Conference League play-off tie with Pacos de Ferreira yesterday.
Kane, 28, also missed Sunday’s 1-0 win over Manchester City with the aim of getting back his fitness level since he had not featured in any game since the Euro Final.
The England striker returned to training with the club on Friday for the first time after returning late from his holiday. He took to his twitter on Wednesday to post the picture of himself in training.
Harry Kane’s future is still not clear, Manchester City have had a £100m offer for Kane turned down earlier this summer, with Tottenham Chairman Daniel Levy reluctant to allow his most prized asset to leave.
When asked if Kane could face Wolves on Sunday, Spurs head coach Nuno Espirito Santo said: “I cannot answer that. What I can tell you is that he is better, his fitness is getting better each day.
He will join the group on Friday and on Saturday we will make a decision about who is going to be involved in the next game.
Would Harry Kane still be Tottenham’s player at the end of the summer transfer session?
