Tuesday proved to be another frustrating occasion for Antonio Conte’s side. They were unable to score and had to settle for a draw away in Germany.

Dier was seen hobbling down the steps of the vehicle before limping towards the entrance of the hotel after the team bus arrived back at the team hotel in Germany.

The 28-year-old received treatment early on in the Group D encounter after he cleared the ball into touch which resulted in his knees making heavy contact with the surface at the Deutsche Bank Arena, however, did manage to complete the full 90 minutes despite looking to be in some discomfort.

A video on Twitter has shown Eric Dier leaving the Tottenham Hotspur coach limping badly seemingly following their Champions League tie with Eintracht Frankfurt this week.

Hopefully, Dier was experiencing some soreness and nothing more ahead of Saturday’s trip to Brighton.

The 28-year-old has been ever-present in Antonio Conte’s back three since his appointment. His form, of course, has earned the defender a recall to Gareth Southgate’s squad after an 18-month absence.
