Mohamed Salah was missing from Liverpool training after limping off against Brighton at the weekend with an injury, with the crucial trip to the Emirates Stadium to play Arsenal just a couple of days away.

Martin Odegaard sends match-warning message to Liverpool ahead showdown clash at Emirates.

He was back on the scoresheet in the win over Brighton at the weekend after finishing from the spot.

But Salah was forced off with an injury just a few minutes later with the attacker seen heading down the tunnel immediately after his substitution.

Jurgen Klopp remained hopeful that Salah’s injury wasn’t too serious when asked about it after the game.

“He thinks it’s not serious but you can see when Mo Salah is sitting down then something is not 100 per cent right,” Klopp said.

And the forward now faces a race against time to be fit for the clash at Arsenal, with Liverpool aiming for a ninth successive Premier League win to keep the pressure on leaders Manchester City.

Jürgen Klopp will give a full update on Salah in his pre-match press conference on Tuesday morning, and If he does miss out— then it could hand either Roberto Firmino or Diogo Jota a chance to come into the side having recently been out injured and then kept on the bench.

Also according to reports, Liverpool were without left back Kostas Tsimikas who started in Liverpool 4-0 victory over Arsenal at Anfield and Veteran midfielder James Milner was not pictured.

Arsenal welcomes Liverpool to Emirates Stadium in what should be a showdown encounter as both teams clearly have a lot at stake.
