Erling Haaland kicked off his season in typical fashion, he has started the 2021/22 season as he undoubtedly means to go on, scoring a hat-trick in Borussia Dortmund’s 3-0 victory away to Wehen Wiesbaden in the DFB Cup first round.

On Saturday, the German side started their latest campaign, as the defence of their German Cup kicked off against third tier side SV Wehen Wiesbaden.The Norwegian forward scored twice in three minutes before the break, with his second coming from the spot with a penalty that he won himself,which was followed by a bizarre celebration of press -ups.
Haaland opened the scoring in the 25th minute when Dortmund captain Marco Reus put him clean through on goal and he doubled Dortmund’s lead from the penalty spot. Haaland completed his hat-trick in the 51st minute, eventually getting the better of Florian Stritzel after the goalkeeper denied his first effort.
The Norwegian went on twitter to post about the match-day after his hat-trick against against third tier side SV Wehen Wiesbaden.
