Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte has confirmed that Richarlison suffered a “problem with his knee” in Wednesday night’s Champions League win over Eintracht Frankfurt.

The Spurs boss, speaking to BT Sport – as transcribed by Sky Sports – after the game, said he hoped it was “nothing serious” ahead of their Premier League weekend game.
The Lilywhites went into this game knowing that a win was important if they wanted to have qualification in their hands going into the last two matchdays. Richarlison started with Harry Kane and Son Heung-min in a front three, who were the heroes of the game.

The 25-year-old came off in the 67th minute, with Oliver Skipp taking his place. And speaking after the game, Conte revealed that Richarlison came off due to a problem with his knee. “We work a lot during the week to try to have a good combination between our strikers and today they showed a great link between them,” the Spurs boss said about his front line.
“But also Richy, he played a good game and then had a problem with his knee. I hope it’s nothing serious for Saturday’s game against Everton.”
Dejan Kulusevski was expectedly dropped from the team today despite returning to training. Conte expects him to be fit for the Premier League match against Everton this weekend at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
“We should have Kulusevski for that game. He’s an important option for us. He’s vital.”
After such a positive result, it’s not good to hear that one of Tottenham’s key squad members has picked up a knock.
Hopefully it’s not significant, as Spurs’ schedule is so busy and Conte can’t be doing with the injury list piling up.
At the same time, Dejan Kulusevski may be back, so if Richarlison misses the Everton game, the Swede can cover.
And Bryan Gil also delivered a great performance off the bench – could he also be in contention?
