Arsenal staged a dramatic late comeback to beat Wolves 2-1 at Emirates as Alexander Lacazette last-gasp strike propels Arsenal to within touching distance of the Premier League’s top-four.

Arsenal fell behind after just 10 minutes against Wolves when Hwang seized upon Gabriel’s slack back pass to round Aaron Ramsdale and score.

Arsenal endured a frustrating 82 mins of football at Emirates as Wolves repelled attack after attack Arsenal threw to them and it seemed they are on course to seal the win they needed to move above Arsenal in the table.

But then, the introduction of Pepe and Eddie Nketiah changed things and it was the two substitutes who combined to draw Arsene level on 82 minutes, with Nketiah setting up Pepe for the equalizer and with five minutes into stoppage time.

Alexander Lacazette deflected shot gave Arsenal the needed victory at Emirates Stadium to keep the top-four within a touching distance.

It was a huge moment for Arsenal as the subsequent celebrations demonstrated. The Champions League dream is very much alive!

Arsenal’s third successive league win lifted them above West Ham United into fifth place with 45 points, one behind Manchester United but having played two fewer games.
