A message from Brazil 🇧🇷
— Tottenham Hotspur (@SpursOfficial) July 1, 2022
The 25-year-old Brazilian became Spurs’ fourth signing of the transfer window on Friday, signing for £60million. A number of teams were linked with a move for him, with both Arsenal and Chelsea thought to be keen on securing his signature.
Richarlison, who joins Yves Bissouma, Ivan Perisic and Fraser Forster in arriving at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, made 152 appearances for the Toffees since joining from Watford in 2018 for £40m, scoring 53 goals.
Since his move to Spurs was confirmed, the attacker has been inundated with messages from his former Everton teammates. While reposting several heartfelt messages to his Instagram stories, Richarlison also opted to share one of his old posts from 2020 to his stories.
He shared an image of himself squaring up to Hector Bellerin, with one of his Gunners teammates down on the ground injured.
Unsurprisingly, it has since gone down extremely well with the Tottenham faithful.
Here’s how the Tottenham fans reacted to Richarlison Instagram post – already loving the vibes.

He is going to buy into that North London rivalry as deeply as any player could. The man lives to boil piss. I can’t help but respect it. pic.twitter.com/B8q3OUO0hn
