
Nottingham Forest defender Djed Spence has been the talk of the town as the scramble for Spence’s signature set to be sparked when the next transfer window opens after being courted by the most giant clubs in the world.

The 21-year-old, who is currently on loan at fellow Championship club Nottingham Forest, has enjoyed a breakout campaign in the Championship but is set to make a big step up in the summer, having come through the academy at Fulham before moving to Middlesbrough, who sent him on loan to Forest in the summer.
Spence has exploded at the City Ground and is now considered to be one of the biggest prospects in England’s second tier after catching the eye during a loan spell at Nottingham Forest and is expected to be on the move this summer.

Former Arsenal striker Ian Wright is a huge fan of the full-back, and revealed he approached Spence after Forest’s third round win over Arsenal to praise his performance.
“I saw him after the game and said ‘listen, my friend. You’re on loan from Middlesbrough and I don’t know what’s happened there, because if you can’t get into the Middlesbrough side, I don’t know what’s wrong, so I need to know the full story’,” he said on the Wrighty’s House podcast
“But let me say, that was one of the best right back performances I have seen for a very long time. A very long time.”If we are talking about right-backs performing at an unbelievable level, we’re talking Reece James and Trent (Alexander-Arnold).

Middlesbrough value Spence at around £12 million according to the Evening Standards as the the 21-year-old, who has been making waves at Forest so far this season wants his future sort April/May.

Tottenham are thought to be leading the race for Spence ahead of the summer transfer window, with Antonio Conte on keen on solving his right wing-back issue.
Spurs are understood to have made a bid to land Spence during the January window of 2022, as the English right-back certainly fits Spurs’ current system and will thrive playing a more attacking role for the north Londoners.
However, They face stern competition from London rivals Arsenal who are impressed with Spence after a MOTM performance in Nottingham Forest shock victory over Arsenal in FA Cup third round.
Likewise also, as reported by Calciomercato, Bayern Munich have also joined the hunt for Djed Spence and are ready to rival widespread interest from Premier League clubs.
Italian giants Roma and Inter Milan are also watching developments closely as the 21-year-old has caught the eye with his recent performances.
