The Milwaukee Bucks who are the current NBA champions have signed a contract extension with head coach Mike Budenholzer.

Sources claim it’s a three year extension for the gaffer. In his three years stint at the club, Budenholzer has guided the Bucks to the best nba singular season record [162-65,.714 ], the most playoff wins in the league [31] and the 2021 NBA championship.
In his first two post season trips, he led the Bucks to back to back appearances in the Eastern conference semifinals – a feat which had eluded the bucks for thirty years.
The bucks have also achieved the highest point average of 120.1 per game and no team has outscored the bucks with a point differential of 8.3 points per game.
CEO and owner of the Milwaukee Bucks Marc Lasry, alongside Wes Edens and Jamie Dinan said in a statement :
“What an incredible journey we’ve been on, and winning the NBA championship this season makes us appreciate how difficult it is to win and how grateful we are to have the best players and coaches in place to get the job done.
They are full of praise for Budenholzer whom Bucks have experienced a real transformation under him.
Budenholzer added : “We have the best players, and to them, I am grateful. They’ve grown, and we’ve grown together during the last three seasons.
“We all can’t wait to get back to work and face the great challenge of competing again for an NBA championship .”
The Milwaukee Bucks will kickstart their new season away to the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday October 19th 12: 30 AM Nigerian time.
