The 21-year-old has supposedly been told by Old Trafford chiefs that he is free to leave the club amid competition for places in Erik ten Hag’s midfield.

Despite Yves Bissouma summer arrival from Brighton and Hove Albion, Tottenham Hotspur are still on the look out for new midfielder.
Bissouma will compete with Rodrigo Bentancur, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Oliver Skipp in the Tottenham engine room, but there could still be another addition there.

Tottenham weigh up James Garner interest.

Following the departure of both Tanguy Ndombele and Giovanni Lo Celso departure this summer, with Harry Winks to follow suit; Tottenham are in the market for a new central midfielder and especially English talent to help their homegrown quota problems and they are now looking to raid Manchester United for James Garner according to The Athletic on Monday.

When it comes to homegrown players, Spurs do hold an interest in Manchester United’s 21-year-old James Garner, who was on loan at Nottingham Forest last season, and football.london understands that Paratici was impressed by the young England U21 midfielder every time he went to watch Spence in action.
