
Tammy Abraham enjoyed a Roma debut to remember as Italian media lavished praise on the striker.

Tammy Abraham enjoyed the perfect start to his AS Roma career after receiving a standing ovation from the club’s fans following his debut.
The 23-year-old, who joined the Italian giant from Chelsea in a deal worth £34 million last week, was named in Jose Mourinho’s starting XI for Roma’s opening match of the 2021-22 Serie A campaign against Fiorentina on Sunday night
Abraham made an immediate impact, providing two assists and sending off goalkeeper Bartlomiej Dragowski as the Giallorossi sealed a 3-1 victory.
The 23-year-old was given a standing ovation from the Roma fans when substituted with 20 minutes to go, being replaced by Eldor Shomurodov.
The only thing missing from Abraham’s Man of the Match display was a debut goal.
As Roma will welcome Trabzonspor for the second leg of the Europa Conference League after the first leg ended 2-1 in favour of AS Roma Courtesy of late goal from New summer signing, Eldor Shomurodov, before traveling to newly-promoted, Salementia, for their second game of the season on August 29th.
